This branding project was created for Curse the Strain, a metal band based in Austin, Texas, known for their aggressive sound and intense stage presence. The goal was to develop a logo and merchandise design that would visually capture the energy and darkness of their music while standing out in a highly stylized and competitive genre. The final design features a hand-drawn, symmetrical composition centered around a zombie witch, surrounded by claw-like wings and ghostly figures. The custom lettering, distressed and sharp, is tightly integrated into the illustration, giving the band name a raw, visceral impact.

This piece successfully delivers a visual identity that matches the band’s sonic brutality and provides a memorable and marketable image for their merchandise and promotional use.
